Questions related to Ultrasounds?

  • To schedule an ultrasound, you must first verify your pregnancy with our pregnancy test or obtain a proof of pregnancy letter. However, we can often provide an ultrasound during the same appointment as the pregnancy test, depending on how far along you are.

  • Yes.If you're considering abortion, your first step is a pre-termination appointment to get an ultrasound.

Here's why an ultrasound is important:

It checks if your pregnancy is progressing, which helps determine the suitable abortion method based on your health history and pregnancy stage.

It confirms if your pregnancy is viable (progressing normally). An ultrasound is the only way to be completely sure. Studies show that up to one-in-four pregnancies don't progress as expected, and some miscarriages are only detected through ultrasound. If you've experienced a miscarriage, you'll need follow-up care from a doctor.
