Understanding Your Abortion Rights
You have the right to choose the outcome of your pregnancy. No partner, boyfriend, spouse, or parent has the legal authority to coerce or force you into a medical or surgical abortion. If you feel pressured or unsupported in your decision regarding parenting or adoption, please reach out to our center. We can advocate for you and provide information about your legal rights.
Remember, the decision about your pregnancy is yours alone to make. No one should make this decision for you.
No one can legally force you to have an abortion, including your parents or the father of your baby. If you are experiencing coercion or pressure to have an abortion, you have options. Request an appointment to speak with a trained client consultant who can help you understand your choices and legal protections. If you are in immediate danger or concerned about your safety or that of your baby, please call 911. -
If you are considering abortion as an option, your first step is to schedule a pre-termination appointment for an ultrasound.
Before proceeding with an abortion, an ultrasound will determine:Whether your pregnancy is progressing, which helps determine the appropriate method of abortion based on your health history and the stage of pregnancy.
Whether your pregnancy is viable. An ultrasound is the most reliable way to confirm a viable pregnancy (one that is progressing). Research shows that up to one in four pregnancies do not progress, and some miscarriages may only be detected through ultrasound. If a miscarriage is confirmed, you will need follow-up care from a doctor.

The Abortion Pill: Understanding Ectopic Pregnancy Risks
It's important to understand that ectopic pregnancies, where the embryo implants outside the uterus, are life-threatening and cannot be treated with the abortion pill (mifepristone and misoprostol).
The pill is ineffective for ectopic pregnancies, which could delay critical medical care if misdiagnosed.
